Q. I have seen a new area on the CAMA website entitled “CAMA Business Procedures & Processes.” What is that all about?
A. This newer area of the website is being developed as a collection of desktop procedures and processes for the CAMA system. During the installation of the CAMA program, the Department, CCI and the Assessors have had to develop a set of business practices and strategies to help organize and define the system we use today.
It has become readily apparent that with the passage of time and with the introduction of new users, it is challenging to keep everyone on the same page. The CAMA Business Procedures & Processes is a public area where all of these arrangements can be organized in one location and updated as needed. Generally speaking, it is a single point of reference where basic system guidelines and direction can be accumulated and easily referenced for everyone’s use. We believe this will be an excellent training resource for new employees and will serve as a good baseline for the rest of us as we move forward!
