The current PP system does not allow the user to search by parcel number, only by the account number.

We would like to suggest an enhancement that makes the search features in PP mirror the search features used with real property.

 

 

I spoke with Laura regarding maintaining the free form section of the legal. We would like to be able to maintain the text the way you can if you are in a word document. We can't enter and start a new line of text without getting an error.

 

DOR:  V5 allows for more formatting of this type of data.

In Oil & Gas globally, anytime you make a change and recalc and save, after saving regardless of what tab you are in the screen auto defaults to account summary. It should stay in the screen that you are working in.
Steps to Reproduce:  Edited group #, recalc, save, transfered to acct summary, went back to well tab corrected api, recalc saved, transferred back to acct summary scrn. Edited legal, recalc, saved and then it transferred me back to acct summary scrn.

 

DOR:  This is corrected in the V5 product.

When doing a search-unless you go into options each & every time & change the status to a & e-you only get active accounts in the results. We need exempts to always show up along with the actives.

 

DOR:  The search capabilities in V5 are much more powerful than V4.   This will be included.

The parcel number field in the imps screen is cutting off the last two digits of the parcel number field.

 

DOR:  You can resize these fields in V5.

Add "Cert Code" to the Batch Land and Batch Imps process as a method of selecting records for the batch process.

The County is considering using this field to track when accounts need to rechecked/appraised. Currently, you can update Cert Code in Batch, but it's not an option for selecting accounts.

Also, can we add an options global field so the County can rename the label for this field if they choose to do so?

I would have thought that the reception number should be the number by which the summary screen should order sales. I mentioned this to Susan previously and I thought she said that that was true. If you look at the above parcel, you'll see that it is not working that way. The highest reception number, therefore, the newest doc, should be on top. But it is not. The recording date is the same on the first two documents. They were entered in the correct order, but they appear wrong.

 

DOR:  V5 will allow you to sort and save the way in which you want to view data.

Would like to see the land adj. factor (area in land valuation portion of system)  an item that could be updated in batch. This would prevent alot of data entry and possibility for clerical errors.

 

DOR:  This will be available in V5 batch.

Would like to see land dollar per be an attribute to select by in GEOWARE - good way to audit land values within a neighborhood without going out to GIS.

 

DOR:  This functionality, at least in part, will be available in V5.  More information may be required to evaluate this completely.

 

 

Add parcel number to sales data entry area where you have to enter account # to enter sale - this way you wouldn't have to switch to account # on the summary screen  to get the account# to enter the sale.  We primarily work with GEO pins (do not have a county number)

We would like to be able to preview before printing the output from the Field Inspection Generator.

 

DOR:  Each county was provided a PDF writer from the DOR.  This may be used to preview the job before it is committed to paper.

The notes from a Building Permit are not displayed in FieldWare. Lori requested the ability to see and add notes in FieldWare.

Per Pat - have the ablitity to add a business name in the Property Info / Name field for each situs address.

We are having a problem with the legal description shuffling itself out of the order it was put into the system. CCI said this needs to be an enhacement request.

 

DOR:  This problem has been resolved in V5.

Would be very handy to be able to filter by NBHD extension as well as nbhd - currently when filtering by NBHD you get all extensions . You can filter by occ code, acct type etc. to narrow it down some but I have nbhds that have extensions based on age of homes and would like to run ratios specific to an age range. 

 

DOR:  Can filter by anything you want in V5's list builder product.

Currently the data to map  button( in sales ratio for GEOWARE)  is only active on Residential Sales Ratio, it would be very beneficial to have this available on Residential Land Sales Ratio and also the Commercial Sales Ratio.  If this was available on land sales ratio would be able to group by dollar per which would be a great tool for value setting.  Currently we do it with GIS but the availability to do it right in RW would cut down a bunch of step.

 

DOR:  This is addressed V5.

Would be helpful to be able to select by Adj Year in batch verses year built, if you are trying to move bldgs from one extension or nbhd to another based on age - most of our older homes have an adjusted year so when you select by year built you do not get most of the bldgs that you want

A site value over 99,999 does not fully appear in a LEA Model. It is confusing when you are looking at the model and can not see the full site amount. We had a site value of $110,000 and, looking at the model after we created it, the screen only showed $10,000.  The data is not affected as the LEA does calculate with the correct $ amount.  We submitted a ticket to CCI concerning this issue and their reply was " The reason it shows up the way it does in the interface is because of the field size in the form.  Currently, there is no user (or Global) options for setting the size of this field. To have the field length increased making the full 6 dollar figures visible in the LEA screen would be an enhancement request through the users group.

 

 DOR:  V5 allows the field to be sized to any length necessary.
 

Two possibilities:

In user options - add ability to search only active, inactive and exempt.

Add status column in search results

In all batch capabilities add Tax ID

In printing the "property profile" for long legals, I'd like to see the entire legal description. the area for the legal need to be larger.

 

DOR:  The V5 release will allow up to 4000 characters to be printed.  This is much larger than the V4 product.

It would be helpfule to be able to tab or enter through the permit page. As is we have to click in each box until we get past the date box.  We were able to do this in the older version.

DOR:  This should be corrected in the 4.18 release of RealWare that should be available later in the Summer 2009.

We need to be able to rearrange the data fields to make entry more user friendly, we have a tab in global options to do this for oil and gas.

Useful to be able to search in State Assessed like other modules, without having to find the account number.

We would like to see the tax area, or district show up in the Batch Appraisal.  We would like to search by tax area.

In the on line manuals there is an option for Oil & Gas Declarations to Create an Excel file and send it electronically to the tax payers.  I have had several requests from our tax payers to do this.  Why doesnt Wyoming have that option?
