The Department is still working on developing the 'exact' machine we will offer for this summer's hardware rollout.  However, the following specifications have been used as a starting point:

Graphic Cards:  256MB PCIe x16 nVidia NVS 290, Dual Monitor DVI Capable
Memory:  4GB, 667MHz, DDR2 SDRAM Memory, ECC (4 DIMMS)
DVD:  16X DVD+/-RW w/ Cyberlink PowerDVD™ and Roxio Creator™ Dell Ed
Hard Drive Configuration:  C1, All SATA, NO RAID for 1 Hard Drive
Boot Hard Drive:  80GB SATA 3.0Gb/s with NCQ and 8MB DataBurst Cache™
File System:  NTFS File System

 

Again, this is a starting point for the configuration.  These specifications may change as we move forward.
