The Department is continuing to work on cleaning up the data contained in the Veteran’s database.  We still have quite a few duplicate veterans in the system, most of which are inactive with no past claims.  Most of these accounts were converted into the system during the initial data conversion.  As of March 25, 2009, all inactive accounts with no past claims will be permanently removed.  This will not include any inactive accounts that have a valid county user name assigned.

This data clean up should have very little to no impact on the counties efforts to track veterans.  If you should have questions or a need for those accounts, please contact Bob Eicher at reiche@state.wy.us before March 25th.
